Physical and chemical properties
pure product is colorless crystals. Melting point 172-173 ℃. Soluble in water. Solubility 18 g/kg in acetone, 4.5 g/kg in ethanol.
Toxicity
Aquatic organisms: LC50 (96 hours) blue gill sunfish and rainbow trout> 1000mg / L; bees: LD50 (contacts)> 20μg / bee, LC50 (48 hours, and meal)> 1000ppm, no effect dose 500ppm; predators: LD50 North America quail> 2250mg / kg diet, LC50 ducks and North America quail> 5620ppm, LC50 (14 days) earthworm> 1000mg / kg.

Used to control annual monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in corn field.
